In this decade, China has become an upcoming international financial and trading centre. With the comparative advantage of lower production costs, many merchants/traders have gradually set up company there and different industries   including   the   forwarding   industry have also been growing in a considerable  rate.   Out of numerous ports in China, Shanghai,  Qingdao,
Shenzhen,  Tianjin and Xiamen are the portsthat have been growing  most
rapidly.   For   your   information,   Shanghai has replaced Long Beach and is ranked the 6th of the largest turnover   port   this year right after Hong Kong, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Busan and Rotterdam. Therefore, the potential of these ports cannot be denied. With the joining of the World Trade Organization  (WTO), China will further open its door to foreign trade and we strongly believe that there would be  more  trade opportunities and these Chinese ports may become the highest turnover ports in the world.

Hong Kong,   being   the gateway to Mainland China, is that place that most of the transhipment cargoes get through.   With  air Link, 40 major cities are linked by Hong Kong flights. With sea link,   River   Trade Terminal facilitates cargo movement by barges between Hong Kong and ports along the Pearl River.  The Marine   Cargo   Terminal   under   construction   at  the Hong Kong International Airport will also act as a collection   port of cargo shipment from China for subsequent air shipment to international markets. With road link,   there   is fast  delivery of cargo serving between Hong Kong and provinces of Guangdong and Fujian.   Shuttle   cargo   trains   are   connected  to Shijiaxhuang, Zhengzhou, Wian, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Changsha and Shantou.
