Hong Kong / South China to North Europe & Mediterranean – BAF & CAF Notice

 

1) Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)

Please be informed that Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) of current level USD 257 per TEU will be increased to USD 270 per TEU for the period from April 1 to 30, 2006 in accordance to the Far Eastern Freight Conference’s announcement.

The BAF is applicable to both Westbound and Eastbound freights from/to China and Hong Kong to/from all European & West and East Mediterranean destinations.

2) Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF)

Please be advised that Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) will be implemented at 5.2% which based on ocean freight for the period from April 1 to 30, 2005 in accordance to the Far Eastern Freight Conference’s announcement.

The CAF is applicable to both Westbound and Eastbound freights from/to China and Hong Kong to/from all European & West and East Mediterranean destinations.

Please be informed that Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) will implement for shipment from Far East to/from Israel ports with effective from sailing departing on/after April 17, 2006 as follow:

Hong Kong / South China to USA – Inland Fuel Surcharge (IFS) Notice

 

Please be informed that Inland Fuel Surcharge (IFS) will implement for shipment from Hong Kong & South East Asia (except Japan ports) to USA with effective from sailing departing on/after April 01, 2006 as follow:

  1. For shipments delivered to CA, OR, & WA states via West Coast and MA, NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL states via East Coast: USD 49 per container
  2. For IPI and RIPI cargo other than above mentioned: USD 169 per container

The inland fuel charge will be reviewed and adjusted effective on Jul 01, 2006, based on the average inland fuel price as published in the U.S. Department of Energy s National Diesel Price Index.
